Invasive Procedure & Pain Support

The Invasive Procedure & Pain Support program is designed to assist patients anticipating any sort of invasive procedure. These can include:

  • Surgery
  • Dental Surgery
  • MRI Scans and Claustrophobia
  • Needle Phobia
  • Biopsy
  • PEG fitting
  • Stitches
  • Any medical tests

There are 4 components of this program:

  1. Help to reduce, alleviate or minimize, fear and anxiety associated with these procedures
  2. Reduction, elimination, or resolution of pain either associated with the procedures or due to a chronic injury
  3. Immunity support or installation through PNI therapy techniques in EMDR
  4. Emotional soothing and mastery of relaxation techniques such as meditation, imaginal exposure, distraction, relaxation response and breathing re-training

 

Duration: The duration of the program will vary on the patient’s needs. All the sessions will be group based except the final session on immunity support, which must be conducted one-on-one.

Age group: 18 years and above
