Jeffrey is a Counselling-Psychotherapist in private practice in Singapore. Besides his doctorate in counselling psychology and formal academic qualifications in counselling and telecommunication engineering, Jeffrey is BRS-Singapore certified in meditation subjects and is an AIHCP Certified Meditation Instructor and Certified Spiritual Counsellor as well. He further holds two diploma in Buddhist studies and a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling Supervision. Jeffrey has authored three books: The Buddhist Companion, Buddhist Snippets and Meditative flow-Psychotherapy and chapter contributor to The Practice of Clinical Supervision. He has presented many papers and workshops relating to counselling, psychotherapy and psychology internationally. Some of his presentations are telecast by the Australian Mental Health Academy and he also features in the Australian MindScience programme. He organizes annual retreats at various meditation centres in Sri Lanka and Indonesia.

In Singapore, he has conducted talks and workshop to various organisations such as Tan Tock Seng Hospital, National University Hospital, Agricultural and Veterinary Authority, The Amalgamated Union of Public Employees, Health Services Authority, Health Services Employees Union.

Besides being involved in providing counselling and psychotherapy services since 2003, Jeffrey has also taught in several private higher institute of learning in Singapore that focused on the subjects of counselling, psychology and psychotherapy. He was awarded the “Educator of the Year-2009” by the American Board of Medical Psychotherapists and Psychodiagnostician where he is a Fellow member. Jeffrey owns two psychotherapy modalities registered as trade mark with the Singapore Intellectual Property – “SMS Therapy” and “Meditative flow-Psychotherapy.”

Jeffrey sits on the Management Committee of the Singapore Anti-Narcotic Association (SANA), is founding President of the Association of Psychotherapists and Counsellors (Singapore), founder and Charter President of the Rotary Club of Serangoon Gardens, Advisor to the Singapore Free Buddhist Clinic Counselling Centre, and is on the editorial committee of For You magazine. He is a certified hypnotherapist, Time-Line therapist, NLP and Reiki practitioner. He also sits as a member of clinical advisors for Solace (Sabah) a private addiction recovery centre in Sabah, East Malaysia.
