Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a combination of psychotherapy and behavioral therapy. It is time sensitive, structured and solution oriented. The CBT model challenges dysfunctional thinking and is highly evidence based in its approach.
Schema therapy in CBT explores the importance of the personal meaning and the core beliefs we place on our perception of things from our childhood.
Behavioral therapy examines the relationship between our problems, our behaviour and our thoughts. CBT is particularly ful with identifying unful thoughts, dysfunctional and negative automatic thoughts which can lead to resolution and enduring improvements.
CBT is highly beneficial for issues such as anxiety, behavioural change, negative thinking, addictions, compulsive behaviours, compliance and adherence issues.
